Népi kultúra bölcsõje Elek – Újszentanna – Ottlaka

Elek Város Önkormányzata 2010. január 20-án sikeres pályázatot nyújtott be a Magyarország – Románia Határon Átnyúló Együttmûködési Program 2007-2013 keretében (HURO-0901/152/2.5.1) „Népi kultúra bölcsõje Elek – Újszentanna – Ottlaka / Vatra folclorica Aletea – Santana – Graniceri” címmel.

A projekt összköltsége 95.659,90 euró. Ebbõl Elek városára jutó támogatás: 35.819,90 euró, Újszentanna településre: 32.300 euró, Ottlaka településre: 27.540 euró.

A támogatási szerzõdés megkötésének idõpontja: 2011. április 1. A projekt tervezett befejezése 2012. március 31. A program hazai társfinanszírozási szerzõdésének megkötésére 2011. május 23-án került sor. A pályázat közremûködõ szervezete a VÁTI Magyar Regionális Fejlesztési és Urbanisztikai Nonprofit Kft.

A pályázat fõ célkitûzése a hagyományok és népszokások újraélesztése az Elek - Újszentanna - Ottlaka határon átnyúló övezetben.
Az a nép, aki nem tiszteli a hagyományait és történelmét, nincs jövõje. A lépésrõl-lépésre eltûnt hagyományok, felszámolt népi zenekarok, fúvós zenekarok, népviseletek újraélesztése, amelyek nélkül nem tudnánk megtartani és folytatni a hagyományokat. Ezen kívül a projekt eredményeként egy közös készítésû kiadvány jön létre, ami a határ menti hagyományokat foglalja majd össze.

Célkitûzések részletezve:
1. Néptánc tábor szervezése Elek – Újszentanna – Ottlaka településeken.
2. Fúvós zenekar részére hangszerek beszerzése.
3. Egymás népviseleteiben a közös vonások felismerése, népviseleti öltözékek beszerzése.
4. Kolindálási hagyományokban való részvétel.
5. Közös kiadvány készítése: hagyományokat, népszokásokat, rövid történeteket, népviseletekrõl képeket tartalmaz.
6. Irodai eszközök beszerzése.

A kulturális tevékenységek célja közelebb hozni az embereket, a közösségeket, ezzel erõsítve a szociális és gazdasági kohéziót a határ menti régióban. A projekt eredményeibõl közvetlenül a részt vevõk részesülnek. A közvetett célcsoport a települések és a környék lakossága, a településeken élõk családtagjai, hozzátartozói a helyszíneken, elõadásokon, helyi televíziós csatornákon, kiadványban, nyomtatott sajtón keresztül érzékelhetik a projekt hatását, eredményét. A tervezett tevékenységek segítségével szeretnénk növelni az érdeklõdést, és a részvételt mindhárom településen. Célunk, hogy a határmenti települések lakossága a rendezvényeken keresztül megismerje, vonzóbbnak tartsa kikapcsolódás céljából a résztvevõ településeket.

Hungary-Romania Cross-Border Co-operation Program 2007-2013

Two countries, one goal, joint success!

The autonomy of Elek city has handed in a successful application under the term of Hungary-Romania Cross-Border Co-operation Program (HURO-0901/152/2.5.1) by the name “The cradle of the nation’s culture Elek-Újszentanna-Ottlaka / Vatra folclorica Aletea-Santana-Graniceri” on January 20, 2010.
The total cost of the project is 95.659,90 Euro of which the city of Elek is sponsored by the amount of 35.819,90 Euro, the township of Újszentanna by 32.300 Euro, and the township of Ottlaka by 27.540 Euro.
The sponsoring contract was signed on April 1st, 2011. The completion date of the project is March 31st, 2012.  The national sponsorship contract of the program was signed in 23th May 2011. The organization that takes part in the project is the VÁTI Magyar Regionális Fejlesztési és Urbanisztikai Nonprofit Kft.
The main purpose of the application is to bring the traditions back to life in the region around the border of Elek-Újszentanna-Ottlaka. A nation that does not respect its own traditions and history has no future. Therefore, it is necessary to re-ignite the folk traditions, the national costumes, the national bands, and the wind orchestra which are slowly vanishing from one day to another. Without these we would not be able to keep and continue the countries' traditions. In addition, a mutual publication will be issued that will summarize the traditions along the border.

The goals in more details:

1) Organizing national dance camps in Elek-Újszentanna-Ottlaka.
2) Gathering musical instruments for the wind orchestra.
3) Obtaining traditional costumes, and recognizing the similarities in between them.
4) Participating in the tradition of “kolindálás”
5) Issuing a mutual publication that contains folk traditions, short stories and photos of traditional costumes.
6) Obtaining office supplies.

The purpose of the cultural activities is to bring people and communities closer together and strengthen the social and economic relationship in the region along the border. Those who participate in the program will benefit from the results. The targeted participants include the population of the townships and the surrounding regions. The family members and relatives living in these townships are able to observe the benefits and accomplishment of the project by attending performance or through local television channels, publications and printed materials. We would like raise the interest and participation in all three townships with planned activities. Our goal for the population of townships along the border is to get to know other participant townships better though such programs and activities.
